• A limited number of DO88’s newly made Volvo 240 Group A replica intercoolers are now available.

• In the 1980s, Volvo raced the 240 Turbo in the Group A touring car series (ETC).

• To race, they had to build at least 500 road-legal cars, which became the Volvo 242 Turbo Evolution in 1983.

• These cars used a German-designed intercooler by Längerer & Reich, known for its great airflow and unique tank design.

• DO88 used advanced 3D scanning to copy the original tank design as closely as possible.

• They had access to a real Group A intercooler to make an accurate replica.

• The original had a 44 mm thick Tube & Fin core.

• DO88’s version uses a 52 mm thick Bar & Plate core for better cooling.

• DO88 made the core thicker to match the 52 mm wide tanks, which improves both fit and performance.

• Outlet and inlet connection size : 71mm
