Funk Motorsport?s Thermal Protection Cover provides additional reliability on starter motors in which are prone to failing due to fatigue caused by heat and debris. The starter motor protection will provide a clean and healthy starter for years to come. Whilst this cover is designed for starter motors, some have used this on a wide array of components including individual throttle bodies (ITB), master cylinders, on board compressors etc.
Our heat shrink will allow a secure and neat fitment of our heat protection sleeving. Heat Shrink is easy to fit, start by cutting to the desired length, loosely place over the protection sleeving, then apply a heat source until the heat shrink has taken to the shape of the sleeving or has reached its minimum diameter. Available in 12mm and 18mm (Starting) diameters.
