Nexus R5 is Haltech’s flagship product combining the functionality of a power distribution module, a data logger, a dual channel wideband controller and a state-of-the art engine management system in one powerful device we call a VCU (Vehicle Control Unit).

4 strong power outputs (25A, fast control) – for injectors, coils, transbrake, fan, fuel pump

12 medium power outputs (8A, slower control) – for sensors, nitrous, etc.

18 injector outputs – works with different types of injectors, can also switch things on/off

12 ignition outputs – for spark, can also switch things on/off

8 low-side outputs – can turn things on/off with speed control (PWM)

4 throttle-style outputs (8A) – for things like electronic throttle, control both directions

23 sensor inputs (0–5V) – for reading sensors, includes backup for throttle and optional 5V support

Engine position inputs – reads crank and cam signals, with noise protection

10 signal inputs – for cam sensors, speed signals, or other 0–5V signals

2 wideband O2 controllers built-in – supports NTK and LSU4.9 O2 sensors

3 CAN ports – with built-in switch to turn termination on or off
