We have engineered these intercoolers using a tube and fin core matched to our flowed cast end tanks with directional air flow fins on the inlet side, the same as we use on our other intercoolers. This is the most efficient way to keep the intake temperatures low. They have been TIG welded and there is no trimming required to fit on most vehicles.

This intercooler replaces the stock intercooler and eliminates the two clip connectors that can cause boost leaks.
The core measures 620mm x 440mm x 65mm.
This will fit the following cars with a VAG 2.0 TSI engine (EA888):
- Volkswagen Golf VIII 2.0 GTI 245ps (from 08/2020)
- Volkswagen Golf VIII 2.0 GTI Clubsport 300ps (10/2020)
- Volkswagen Golf VIII 2.0 R 320ps (12/2020)
- Cupra Formentor VZ 2.0TSI 245ps
- Cupra Formentor VZ 2.0TSI 310ps
- Skoda Octavtia 2.0TSI RS 245ps
We have tested our intercoolers on a few vehicles and found they have absolutely fantastic results.
The standard intercooler and the MTC intercooler both had intercooler intake temperatures of between 110-115 degrees every time over 5 runs on the road.
Professional installation is recommended as some parts can be a little tricky. Fitting will take approximately 3-4 hours by a professional mechanic.
