It is very easy to fit as it is a direct replacement. There are also some great videos on YouTube to follow. Fitting should take around 1-2 hours. There is no drilling required although it may require some trimming of the lower grill on some models.

The MTC intercooler features a massive stepped core and has a 53mm OD inlet and outlet that works with the standard hoses and also ours.
This intercooler will massively improve throttle response in comparison to the standard intercooler.
These cores are tested individually to 3 bar and are proven to flow 400bhp without any problems.

The standard intercooler and the MTC intercooler both had intercooler intake temperatures of between 125-140 degrees through 3 runs on the road.
We would go as far as to say these are the best intercoolers on the market for the Mini Cooper S R56 R57 1.6T.
