NITTO’s RB26DETT metal gasket set has been developed as a high performance alternative to the OEM paper style gaskets. These are normally found on standard engines and as part of the Nissan range of gaskets.

NITTO now offers a practical solution to a long term problem of the OEM type RB26 intake gaskets fatiguing. These gaskets eventually fail when the engine has been run at high boost levels. This is becoming an increasingly common problem even with engines running mild boost levels. This causes the gasket to eventually blowout with subsequent power robbing loss in boost and erratic running of the engine under normal driving conditions.

The gaskets have been manufactured using high grade stainless to be resistant to the most extreme conditions with the exhaust gaskets being multi-layered offering superior sealing between the head and exhaust manifold/s. The gaskets have been designed to be used with both ported and non heads and therefore require no trimming or modifying when used in most applications.
